Amy Ladetsky
Amy LadetskyAmy Ladetsky particularly enjoys working on a creative individualized approach to help children improve their sensory processing, fine motor, motor planning, visual motor, visual perception, and self-care skills. She is trained in the Handwriting Without Tears program, the DIR Floortime, and sensory integration. Amy has comprehensive experience working with preschoolers for kindergarten readiness, as well as with elementary school aged children.  Amy loves working with children and their families to help each child grow to their fullest potential.
After earning her degree in psychology from Emory University, Amy graduated with her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University in 2000. Her career as an OT began at Bellevue Hospital in NYC rotating in out-patient, in-patient rehabilitation, and acute care settings. She has been a pediatric occupational therapist for the past 7 years, working with children on the autistic spectrum at The Children’s Institute and various other school settings as well as in pediatric private practice settings. We're delighted to welcome her back to the Pediatric Potentials' family!
Amy is an avid runner who recently ran the New York City Marathon and achieved her goal time! She enjoys spending time with her husband, Seth and three boys, Ben, Jonah, and Owen.
