ARE YOUR KIDS READY FOR THE PARCC ASSESSMENTS?

We can help your child learn proper keyboarding to better succeed! This year, the PARCC (Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers) will replace the NJ ASK for children in grades 3 and up. Required standardized exams will take place on computers in the Spring.

Private and small group classes are available through our Computer Campus Division. Call 973-535-5010 for more information.

Snowdays? Great ways to occupy your kids with physical activity from PT Melissa Cunha: create an obstacle course, hold wheelbarrow walking races, jump rope, play catch or shoot hoops with rolled socks, have a dance party, play Simon Says, host a mini-Olympics! Check out OT Director Laurie Kalb's suggestions for a sensory swim party in the tub, or a jumping swim party in a pillow-filled (waterless) baby pool; Twister or musical chairs, art activities or board games. If outdoor play is possible, "Using Snow for a Therapeutic Workout " has OT Natalie Katzourin-Buchsbaum's fabulous tips for playing in the snow.
